Markisha Johnson is President of Sovereign Realty and has a full-spectrum of expertise and knowledge in the industry. With over two decades of business experience, Markisha has managed commercial and retail projects. She believes in transforming the lives of her clients through her vast experience in sales, negotiation, management and customer service. Johnson’s knowledge in home buying, selling, investments and construction makes her a sought after leader in real estate.
Johnson is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors and the Beaumont Board of Realtors.

Markisha has built a successful career in sales, marketing, business consulting and development over the past 20 years. Markisha opened multiple successful businesses in the field of cosmetology which guided her love for people and entrepreneurship.

In 2013, Markisha completed Capital One-Getting Down to Business Certification, which offered small business owners the opportunity to grow their business. In 2017, Markisha attended the Construction Contractors College in Houston, TX, where she received her TWIC and 30 Hour OSHA Certification. She continues to learn from construction leaders in the private and public sector.

Her goal is to service first time home buyers, families, business owners, independent contractors, network of co investors and visitors looking to relocate or invest in luxury homes, vacation homes, single family properties, apartments and condominiums in the Jefferson, Galveston, Harris and Montgomery Counties, as well as Crystal Beach, Gilchrist and Port Bolivar areas. As a licensed Realtor with Sovereign Realty and Clayton Nash Real Estate, she will ensure you are satisfied.
The scripture that patterns Markisha’s life is taken from Philippians 4:10-13 – “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” In the next 5-10 years her goal is to expand the brand of Sovereign Realty Group nationally and internationally.

Johnson is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management. Markisha is a wife, friend and entrepreneur who currently live in Beaumont, TX.
